After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Carroll, Middletown Christian was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Legacy Christian Academy Knights. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won five in a row.

Middletown Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 26-24, 25-10, 25-13.

When it comes to explaining why Legacy Christian Academy lost, don't look at Clara Bailie. Despite the final result, she had seven digs and two aces. Bailie also put up an assist, which was her first of the season.

Middletown Christian's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Middletown Christian is set to take on their familiar foe Yellow Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Legacy Christian Academy will square off against rival Emmanuel Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
