Geoffrey Creighton Lefevre's Big Game Leads Vela over Juarez-Lincoln
Geoffrey Creighton Lefevre was instrumental in extending Vela's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Creighton Lefevre as he threw for 207 yards and four touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes.
Vela's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Creighton Lefevre and Vela will face off against Rowe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Vela picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jonathan Flores. Flores was dynamite, rushing for 135 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. Flores is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 131 every time he's taken the field this season.
Flores must have Juarez-Lincoln's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Flores rushed for 244 yards and five touchdowns on only 12 carries the last time he and the Huskies duked it out back in October of 2023.

Another McAllen Memorial player making an appearance on this list is Kane Coy. He rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 90 yards and two touchdowns on only five passes.
