Post proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Tahoka Bulldogs. That's more bragging rights for the Antelopes, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Post wouldn't go down easily and took Tahoka into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-12, 22-25, 23-25, 15-7.
Post now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Tahoka, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-21.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Post will challenge Ropes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Antelopes surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tahoka, they will host Plains at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
