Softball Game Preview: River Bluff Gators vs. Pelion Panthers

The River Bluff Gators will challenge the Pelion Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

River Bluff fell victim to Gilbert and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Indians, falling 6-0. The Gators' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Tuesday as neither Pelion nor Ninety Six made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Panthers fell 6-1 to the Wildcats. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost six in a row.
