Recap: Pulaski County Maroons vs. Ryle Raiders
On Saturday, the Pulaski County Maroons faced the Ryle Raiders in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Pulaski County took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ryle. Pulaski County's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Ryle had a senior duo take command as Sarah Baker scored 19 points along with five rebounds and three blocks and Quinn Eubank almost dropped a triple-double on 16 points, 13 rebounds, and nine assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which Eubank has scored at least 25% of Ryle's points. Jaelyn Jones was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Pulaski County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-1. As for Ryle, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
Pulaski County will be home for the holidays to greet Somerset at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Ryle will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Mount Notre Dame at 7:30 p.m. on December 14th.
