Baseball Recap: Mount Miguel Comes Up Short

Mount Miguel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 7-3 to the Crossroads Roadrunners.

Mount Miguel's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Crossroads, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-5.

Coming up, Mount Miguel will be playing at home against San Jacinto at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Crossroads, they will venture away from home to square off against Pacific Ridge at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Firebirds have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.38 runs per game on average), something the Roadrunners will no doubt try to take advantage of.
