Volleyball Recap: Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals vs. Hubbard Greyhounds

Blue Island Eisenhower was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hubbard Greyhounds.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Blue Island Eisenhower sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-8, 23-25, 25-12.

Isaiah Jauregui was nothing short of spectacular for Hubbard: he had 15 digs and four aces. Those 15 digs gave Jauregui a new career-high. Jonathan Hernandez was another key player, getting seven digs and five aces.
