Volleyball Recap: Corona Comes Up Short

Corona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Vasquez Mustangs.

Corona's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Vasquez, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Corona will be playing at home against King at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Vasquez, they have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Cathedral City on the 8th.
