Volleyball Recap: Horizon Victorious + How To Watch

Horizon won the last time they faced Centaurus and things went their way on Thursday too. The Hawks came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawks.

Horizon had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-22, 25-23, 25-23.

Sarah Vaness was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 11 digs and two aces. What's more, she posted four assists, the most she's had over her last eight contests.

Vaness wasn't the only good servers: Horizon was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 20 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Horizon's record is now 11-6. As for Centaurus, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season.
