Basketball Recap: Mounds' Win Ends 13-Game Losing Streak at Home

Mounds pushed their score to 78 the last time they played Oilton, but on Wednesday they couldn't quite do it again. The Mounds Golden Eagles blew past the Oilton Panthers 35-7. That 28 point margin sets a new team best for the Golden Eagles this season.

Mounds' victory ended a 13-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-10. As for Oilton, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Mounds Golden Eagles duke it out with the Summit Christian Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Oilton has already played their next contest (against Olive), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
