Papillion-LaVista has gone a perfect 9-0 against Benson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Papillion-LaVista Monarchs will host the Benson Bunnies at 7:15 p.m. Papillion-LaVista knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Benson likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Papillion-LaVista earned a 66-57 win over Fremont. The Monarchs haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Benson was able to grind out a solid win over Columbus on Saturday, taking the game 71-60.

Papillion-LaVista's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Benson, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-12.

Papillion-LaVista didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Benson in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 75-70 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Benson's Goanar Bamach, who shot 4-for-6 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 31 points and ten boards. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Papillion-LaVista still be able to contain Bamach? There's only one way to find out.
