Basketball Recap: Corona/Vaughn Takes a Loss

Corona/Vaughn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 60-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coronado Leopards.

Corona/Vaughn's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Coronado, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Looking ahead, Corona/Vaughn will be playing in front of their home fans against Mountainair at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Mountainair's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests. As for Coronado, they are taking a road trip to square off against East Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
