Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central of Clay County). They put the hurt on the Randolph County Tigers with a sharp 13-2 win on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Volunteers in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won six in a row.

Central of Clay County's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Randolph County, their loss was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-16.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central of Clay County will take on Jacksonville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Randolph County, they will challenge Pleasant Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
