Baseball Recap: Flomaton Falls Short of Lee-Scott Academy in the Playoffs

Flomaton and Lee-Scott Academy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Flomaton had to settle for second. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 6-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Hurricanes haven't been shut out since back in March.

This is the second loss in a row for Flomaton and nudges their season record down to 20-11. As for Lee-Scott Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-10 record this season.

While Flomaton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
