Baseball Recap: Stringer Takes a Loss

Stringer and Sacred Heart squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Stringer had to settle for second. They fell 5-2 to the Crusaders. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, with their most recent loss being a 8-6 defeat on Saturday.

Stringer dropped their record down to 8-19 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Sacred Heart, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 19 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-7 record this season.

Stringer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sacred Heart, they will face off against French Camp Academy on Friday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Crusaders surely won't give up without a fight.
