After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Maplesville, Isabella was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Verbena Red Devils 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Mustangs have posted since February 25th.

Maleigh Mcgualliard spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five runs (all of which were unearned) on seven hits.

On the hitting side, Isabella let Natalie Smithermen and Aubreigh Davenport run wild. Smithermen scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-4, while Davenport scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Jeslyn Wilson was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
