Southeast extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Queen Chalmers. The Southeast Golden Buffalo really took it to the North RedHawks for the full four quarters, racking up a 73-34 win which was due in part to Chalmers, who dropped a triple-double with 20 points, ten assists, and 11 steals. She is becoming a predictor of Southeast's success: when she posts at least five steals the team is 5-1 (and 5-6 when she doesn't).

Another player making a difference was Kamaria Mercy, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards. She has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times she's played.

North lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Joanna Ross, who went 6-for-13 on her way to 14 points along with seven boards and four blocks. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (67%). Danna Barretero was another key player, putting up five points and eight rebounds.

Southeast pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for North, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Southeast has already played their next match, a 57-51 loss against South on the 18th. As for North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 74-19 defeat against East on the 19th.
