Softball Recap: Renville County West Takes a Loss

Renville County West fell victim to Minneota and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 11-0. The loss continues a trend for the Jaguars in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost three in a row.

Renville County West saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mackenna Hinderks, who went 1-for-2 with one triple. That triple marked the first that Hinderks has hit this season.

Renville County West's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Minneota, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Renville County West will challenge Benson at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Minneota, they will face off against Ortonville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
