Basketball Recap: Stamford Comes Up Short

Stamford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Hawley Bearcats, falling 60-38. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bearcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-44 back in January.

Stamford's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Hawley, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 14-12 record this season.

Stamford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hawley, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Bearcats duke it out with the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on February 18th. Seymour will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Hawley surely won't give up without a fight.
