Football Recap: Butler's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over

After soaring to 35 points the game before, Butler was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They fell 20-13 to the Wheeling Park Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Golden Tornado can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 143rd in Pennsylvania, while the Patriots are ranked eighth in West Virginia).

Nicco Baggetta threw for 122 yards on 11 of 24 attempts. Marcus Vicari was his top target, picking up 46 receiving yards.

Wheeling Park had a senior duo take command as Brennan Wack gained 142 total yards and Nolan Yanchak gained 84 total yards and a touchdown. Wack's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 11th straight game with at least 102 rushing yards dating back to last season.
