Keirston Rozell leads Meadow Bridge to victory over Greater Beckley Christian

Recap: Meadow Bridge Wildcats vs. Greater Beckley Christian Crusaders

The Meadow Bridge Wildcats had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They strolled past Greater Beckley Christian with points to spare, taking the game 46-32. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Meadow Bridge also won the last time the pair played last Tuesday.

Keirston Rozell was her usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with five assists and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Hayes, who scored seven points along with eight assists and seven rebounds.

Leah Adkins and Olivia Price certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Adkins scored 14 points along with four steals, while Price dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. That was a full 43.8% of Greater Beckley Christian's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Meadow Bridge is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Greater Beckley Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Meadow Bridge will take on Richwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greater Beckley Christian, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Mountain Mission at 3:00 p.m. on January 15th.
