Softball Game Preview: Brookline Warriors vs. Boston Latin Wolfpack

The Brookline Warriors will square off against the Boston Latin Wolfpack at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Brookline is coming into the game on a 19-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Brookline lost 14-3 to Boston Latin Academy on Friday.

Meanwhile, Boston Latin came up short against Acton-Boxborough on Monday, falling 18-3. The Wolfpack haven't had much luck with the Revolution recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Boston Latin saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cortney Lenz, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI. Kayla Connolly also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Brookline's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Boston Latin, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.

Brookline might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Boston Latin in their previous matchup back in May of 2016. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
