Soccer Recap: Boswell Comes Up Short

Boswell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Lake Ridge Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Pioneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 377th, while the Eagles are ranked 59th).

Boswell's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Lake Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Boswell and Lake Ridge will both be playing Mansfield the next time they take the pitch. Boswell will head out to face Mansfield at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Lake Ridge will host them at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st.
