Basketball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central lost against Glencoe-Silver Lake back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Central Raiders fell 74-62 to the Glencoe-Silver Lake Panthers.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Glencoe-Silver Lake, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 19-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central will venture away from home to face off against Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Glencoe-Silver Lake, they will head out on the road to square off against Rockford at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Glencoe-Silver Lake's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine contests.
