Volleyball Recap: Newport Falls to Pendleton County in First Game of Season

Newport had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of Pendleton County by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 19 in a row.

Coming up, Newport will welcome Newport Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pendleton County, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Dayton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
