Recap: Alcester-Hudson Cubs vs. Florence/Henry Falcons
The Alcester-Hudson Cubs pushed their score all the way to 55 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 61-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Florence/Henry. Alcester-Hudson just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
Despite the loss, Alcester-Hudson still got an impressive performance from Ethan Bovill, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Van Egdom, who scored nine points along with 14 rebounds and five assists.
Alcester-Hudson bumped their record down to 3-6 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Florence/Henry, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
Alcester-Hudson will be playing in front of their home fans against Scotland at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Florence/Henry, they will head out on the road to face off against Arlington at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Arlington and Florence/Henry are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads.
