Football Game Preview: Colonial Heights vs. Matoaca

On Friday Matoaca take on Colonial Heights at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.

We expected Matoaca to have trouble with the significantly higher ranked Dinwiddie last Friday, and they did. Matoaca suffered a grim 13-42 defeat to Dinwiddie. Matoaca's loss continues a disappointing trend for the squad, making it six losses in a row.

Meanwhile, Colonial Heights took a serious blow against Hopewell, falling 0-49. Colonial Heights were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-42.

Matoaca took the matchup and then some with a 37-0 win the last time the two teams met over Colonial Heights. Will Matoaca repeat their success, or does Colonial Heights have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
