There's no place like home for the Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They breezed by Summit Charter at home to the tune of 59-23 on Thursday. That 36 point margin sets a new team best for Blue Ridge Early College this season.
Blue Ridge Early College had a senior duo take command as Eric Puskarich scored 20 points along with six assists and Ethan Henson scored 21 points along with six rebounds. Puskarich hasn't dropped below 20 points for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Evan Pressley, who scored six points along with eight rebounds.
Blue Ridge Early College's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Summit Charter, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Blue Ridge Early College won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hiwassee Dam at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Hopefully Blue Ridge Early College focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Thursday. Summit Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
