After losing to the San Dieguito Academy Mustangs the last time they met, the Patrick Henry Patriots decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Patrick Henry strolled past San Dieguito Academy with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 55-41. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Patrick Henry.
Derek McBride was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Patrick Henry's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Weatherred, who scored 13 points.
Patrick Henry is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for San Dieguito Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
