Softball Recap: Copper Hills Takes a Loss

Copper Hills lost against Herriman back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Grizzlies took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clarissa Hotton made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Copper Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Herriman, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-8.

Coming up, Copper Hills will host Corner Canyon at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Grizzlies are facing the Chargers at the right time seeing as the Chargers are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Herriman, they will venture away from home to challenge Mountain Ridge at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Sentinels will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
