 Swansboro found their leader in sophomore  Addison King, who  posted nine  points in addition to eight  boards and four  steals. Those four  steals gave  King a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Mattie Floyd, who  put up six points and five  rebounds.
 Swansboro's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 4-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points per game. As for Lejeune, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
 Lejeune took a serious blow against Swansboro  in their previous matchup  back in November, falling  56-6. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of   King, who  went 7 of 12 on her way to 15 points in addition to eight  rebounds and three  steals.
