Softball Recap: Slaughter Community Charter Comes Up Short

Slaughter Community Charter lost against Loranger back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Knights lost 13-1 to the Wolves.

Slaughter Community Charter saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caroline Smith, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Slaughter Community Charter's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-12. As for Loranger, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-2.

Looking ahead, Slaughter Community Charter will face off against West Feliciana at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights are facing the Saints at the right time seeing as the Saints are stuck on a six-game losing streak. Loranger does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
