Basketball Recap: Ontario Christian Knights vs. Aquinas Falcons
The Ontario Christian Knights fought the good fight in their overtime contest against the Aquinas Falcons on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 70-69 to the Falcons. Ontario Christian has not had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alex Yang, who scored 29 points along with five rebounds. Max Ma was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Ontario Christian struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Ontario Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Aquinas, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-10.
Ontario Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Aquinas also has no future games currently scheduled.
