Volleyball Recap: St. Mary's-Colgan Gets the Win

St. Mary's-Colgan hadn't done well against Heritage Christian Academy recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Panthers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Chargers. The Panthers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Chargers, so the Panthers were just returning the favor.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17.

Bella Ascanio paced St. Mary's-Colgan's offense, picking up five kills. Ascanio were helped by Izzy Tierney and Addi Dewey, who contributed six assists each. Dewey also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Camryn Jacquinot, each putting up two.
