Softball Recap: Carrick Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Carrick finally came back down to earth on Friday. They came up short against the Gateway Gators, falling 15-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Raiders were not able to get on the board.

Carrick moved to 11-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Gateway, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Carrick will take on Brentwood at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Raiders will need to watch out since the Spartans have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Gateway, they will head out to face off against Mt. Lebanon at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
