Basketball Recap: Concord Christian Takes a Loss

Concord Christian lost against Lakeway Christian Academy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Concord Christian Lions were dealt a 78-40 loss at the hands of the Lakeway Christian Academy Lions. While losing is never fun, Concord Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 363rd, while Lakeway Christian Academy is ranked 154th).

Concord Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. As for Lakeway Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

Concord Christian is taking a road trip to take on Clayton-Bradley Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakeway Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Christian Academy of Knoxville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Christian Academy of Knoxville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Lakeway Christian Academy likes a good challenge.
