Football Recap: Sierra Vista Takes a Loss

Sierra Vista extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 1-6. They took a hard 27-10 fall against the Nogales Nobles. Having soared to a lofty 31 points in the game before, the Dons couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Nogales, they now have a winning record of 4-3. They haven't had any issues with Sierra Vista recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

It was another big night for Orlando Zamora, who rushed for 205 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.8 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 88 yards.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sierra Vista is set to take on their familiar foe Pomona at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Nogales will face off against rival Wilson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
