Football Game Preview: Buhl Indians vs. Gooding Senators + How To Watch

The Buhl Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Gooding Senators at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Buhl's defense has only allowed 12.2 points per game this season, so Gooding's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Buhl will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up seven points last Friday, then bounced right back against Wood River on Friday. The Indians blew past the Wolverines, posting a 41-7 win. The contest marked the Indians' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Gooding was able to grind out a solid win over Mountain Home last Friday, taking the game 23-13. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Senators.

Gooding's win came from a few key players Buhl will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Cougar Stockham, who threw for 180 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 84 yards. Rio Curtis was another key player, rushing for 82 yards and a pair of TDs on only eight carries.

Buhl's record is now 4-1. As for Gooding, their record now sits at 3-1.

Buhl strolled past Gooding when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a score of 32-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
