Softball Game Preview: Chase Trojans vs. Polk County Wolverines

For the second straight game, Chase will face off against Polk County. The Trojans will venture away from home to square off against the Wolverines at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Chase has three straight victories, Polk County has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

While Chase's win against Polk County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Trojans skirted past the Wolverines 9-7.

Chase pushed their record up to 11-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Polk County, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.
