Baseball Recap: Reseda Comes Up Short

Reseda fell victim to Vaughn and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the White Tigers, falling 17-0. The Regents were not able to make up for their loss to the White Tigers from their previous meeting back in March of 2019.

DON BARAJAS was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and one triple. He is on a roll when it comes to hits, as he's now got three or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Reseda has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season. As for Vaughn, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-11.

Reseda has already played their next game, an 11-1 win against Northridge Academy on the 7th. As for Vaughn, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-3 defeat against Fairfax on the 5th.
