Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Ryian Eveland and Cameron Toney Lead Jefferson to Victory

A well-balanced attack led Jefferson over Whitehall/Harrison/Willow Creek in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. The Jefferson Panthers put the hurt on Whitehall/Harrison/Willow Creek with a sharp 59-33 win. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 26 points or more this season.

Jefferson was led to victory by Cameron Toney and Ryian Eveland. Toney went 8 for 15 en route to 18 points and five steals, while Eveland dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. Eveland is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last four games she's played. Jaida Jurenka was another key player, putting up three points and five steals.

Jefferson is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points over those games. As for Whitehall/Harrison/Willow Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Coming up, Jefferson will be playing at home against Broadwater at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Whitehall/Harrison/Willow Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
