Softball Recap: Gallatin Takes a Loss

Gallatin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They lost 9-0 to the Wilson Central Wildcats. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 7, 2021, but that streak is no more.

Gallatin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Wilson Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Gallatin will face off against rival Mount Juliet at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Wilson Central is set to take on their familiar foe Beech at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
