Santiam Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 49-0 win over Blanchet Catholic. Considering the Eagles have won three games by more than 32 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Newport took a blow against Amity on Friday, falling 42-7. The Cubs have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Santiam Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Newport, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything came up roses for Santiam Christian against Newport when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 55-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
