Football Game Preview: Fall River vs. Deerfield

Fall River will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Deerfield at 7:00 PM. Deerfield will be strutting in after a victory while Fall River will be stumbling in from a loss.

After soaring to 35 points the game before, Fall River faltered in their matchup last Friday. They took a 6-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Johnson Creek. Fall River's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Deerfield have had to suffer through a 5-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took the game and then some with a 56-14 win last Friday over Wayland Academy. Deerfield were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Fall River took their match against Deerfield the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 22-0 score. Will Fall River repeat their success, or does Deerfield have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
