A Season-Best Performance from Jackson Heavner Leads Cherryville over Highland Tech
Jackson Heavner produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Cherryville to the win on Friday. Heavner rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also picked up 69 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Cherryville moved to 2-5 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak. Heavner and Cherryville will head out on the road to challenge Thomas Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
