Baseball Recap: Martin Comes Up Short

Martin couldn't beat Zion Christian on Friday even though they stacked four runs on them in the second inning. The Clippers came up short against the Mountaineers, falling 17-7. The defeat continues a trend for the Clippers in their meetings with the Mountaineers: they've now lost four in a row.

Martin's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Zion Christian, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

Looking ahead, Martin will venture away from home to challenge Kellogg at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Zion Christian, they will host Godwin Heights at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
