Soccer Recap: Cooper Takes a Loss

Cooper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Abilene Eagles. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by exactly two goals.

Cooper now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Abilene, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-10.

Looking ahead, Cooper will venture away from home to face off against Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Abilene, they will welcome Legacy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Legacy's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
