Baseball Recap: Riddle Comes Up Short

Riddle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 17-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of Waldport. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Riddle of the 9-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Riddle's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Waldport, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

While Riddle had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
