Baseball Recap: Archbishop Alter Takes a Loss

Archbishop Alter lost against Bellbrook back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Knights took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Eagles. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Archbishop Alter saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Hemmert, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Archbishop Alter now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Bellbrook, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Archbishop Alter wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-7 loss against Fairmont on the 3rd. As for Bellbrook, they will square off against Brookville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
