Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Newton). They blew past the Jasper Eagles 19-3 on Monday. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by nine runs or more this season.

The win got East Newton back to even at 8-8. As for Jasper, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Newton will square off against Purdy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jasper, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lakeland at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
